Hi,
Let's face it...
Us self-improvement junkies love to buy stuff, don't we?
I don't know about you, but I get regular delivers from Amazon, a 'CD
of the month' in the mail, subscribe to an online membership site, and
buy ebooks every single week off of the Internet!
I'm constantly searching for things that can help me make my life that
little bit better, as well as increase my bank balance.
Bet you're the same, right?
But - you and I have one serious problem...
We're constantly bombarded with the
latest 'must have' ebook or program - yet it is only 'recommended' to
us because the person you are reading is getting a percentage of all of
the sales that he makes.
Which is no bad thing if the product he or she is recommending is excellent
stuff. They benefit from recommending something that could really make
a difference to YOUR life - so it's a 'win-win'.
In fact - I run my ezine based only on recommending excellence. I ONLY
recommend resources that I have used, read, or tested myself - and can
stand by 100% - whatever amount the product owner may pay me as a commission.
In fact - it's been THREE months since I last recommended something to
my subscribers - even though I regularly get sent review copies of ebooks
and CDs.
To be honest - sometimes the quality of the content
produced by so-called 'experts' is often driven by how much money they
want to make, rather than the degree of value their product offers to
YOU.
But...that doesn't stop many ezine writers and list owners pushing
everything they set their eyes on - just because they know that they will
get a nice big commission check in return.
And boy - does this make me MAD!
I HATE it when people get taken advantage of - even if the line is blurred
between being 'ripped off' and 'under-delivered'.
I know how I feel when, after I've read an ebook I've bought, I get that
feeling of being let down. It may not be to the point that I feel I've
been taken for a ride, but I hate it when I know that both the author
and the ezine owner are laughing all the way to the bank - literally at
MY expense.
Have YOU experienced that? I bet you have.
So...I want to do something about it.
In fact - I want BOTH YOU and I to do something about it!
I've set up "Self-Improvement
Review" to allow both you, I, and people like us, to post reviews
of ANY ebook, book, audio, home study course, ezine, or seminar we have
experienced.
And, although I could charge for access (because I will be spending
part of my time writing reviews of books that I have personally read)
- I have decided to allow completely FREE access for the time being -
so that YOU can benefit from completely independent reviews about ANY
product that may interest you.
Why am I offering this to you for FREE?
Well...I can cover my costs from paid advertising on the website, plus
I may get an affiliate commission from any purchases made from those people
who buy a resource ONLY after reading good reviews about it on the site.
Plus I am asking you to provide your email address below - so that I can
email you every week to let you know about any new reviews that are up
on the site. (I personally will be adding at least one new review a week).
The reason why I am not just allowing
anyone to access the site is that, as some people will take the time to
write a review (I will be doing so, and I hope that YOU will, too) - it's
only fair that only those people who can be bothered to at least enter

To be honest - I could have easily just set it up so that I only put up
my own positive reviews for products I love (which will be on there) -
but I think that it is better for us both that I allow people like YOU
to post reviews - as my opinion may well be different from yours.
I've even put my own products on there
- up for total independent scrutiny - just to prove that I'm serious about
making sure that this site is 100% above board and contains totally honest
reviews.
In fact - the only censoring of reviews I will be doing is if they contain
profanity or get too personal about an author, rather than just focusing
on the quality and value for money of the content.
